This visionary statement of Kofi Annan sounds like a reminder of our duty in the ongoing African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agenda. A project that aims at synthesizing the strengths in various sectors of the African economy for an optimal value to our continent.
Africa Re, as a pan- African organization, with the mission to promote the insurance industry in the continent, is seizing this opportunity of AfCFTA to advance its vision and mission which it embarked on more than 45 years ago. This is done sometimes through the platform of the African Insurance Organisation (AIO) and also directly with the insurance and reinsurance communities.
